Gay and Transvestite Video Game Characters

Recently I stumbled across a rather incompetent, pedestrian venture here on tumblr called Arkh Project. A proposed rpg exclusively featuring gay, bisexual, and transvestite characters doing… something. A novel concept, but it’s being fronted by a development team who don’t know their ass from their head.

Seriously, these jokers need millions of dollars to make something me and about 5 other people could bang out in RPG Maker in less than a year? I don’t care what vision you have, a real artist, particularly one with passion works with whatever they got.

But what’s most laughable is their mission statement in that gays are misrepresented or completely absent in the world of video games. Admittedly, I was a bit offended, because that was completely untrue. There are plenty of characters from different walks of life that aren’t raging stereotypes and that are strong, useful, cool, and important.

And just because I think I’m smarter than everyone, I’m gonna share what I’ve found. Now these are confirmed gay, bisexual, and transvestite characters. Not speculated, not shit I pulled out of my own ass, actually confirmed by the people who created them.
